Bloomfield in the 1970s
TIA, the Town Improvement Association, was formed in 1907. The first set of photographs in this collection are of some of their beautification projects - plantings at schools, train stations and public parks. The second part of the collection are photos TIA took to document deplorable conditions needing to be addressed.
