Davey's Mill

Davey’s Mill was founded in 1842 by William B. Davey. They produced "Binders Board," the stiff paperboard used for book binding and trunk board used to make steamer trunks. The mill stopped operations at this location in 1933 and moved to Jersey City. The buildings were demolished in 1939 and the property was bought by the Town in 1941.
